Synonyms of "Whole" and their differences
Q:
What is the difference between all and whole ?
A:
You can say "all the people" but not "whole the people" since whole only focuses on one thing where people is more than one, so instead you can say "a whole person".
Q:
What is the difference between whole and entire ?
A:
Whole” comes from “unhurt”, and means a single object that has not been subdivided.
“Entire” comes from “complete”, and means no part has been left out.
They are different when you are talking about collections of objects; the entire lot of cars, or the entire staff, since these are collections of distinct objects. You would say a whole loaf of bread or a whole person, since these are single objects not usually considered a collection of parts.
The expression “whole life” considers one’s life to be a single unit that has not been subdivided. An “entire life” means all the parts (years? experiences?) of a life. In this case either could be used.

Is that all it took? I thought it would be more work.

Q:
What is the difference between on the whole and in general ?
A:
@Seven_Nation_Sheep: umm, don't really know how to explain it. I wouldn't consider both words as synonyms of each other. I will give you an example.
"I wish the whole world were like that."
"The whole truth might be painful, but at least you are not lying anymore."
Here you are referring to everything with "the whole".
If you tried to place general were whole is the sentences wouldn't make sense.
The general truth is not the whole truth. People don't even describe truth as general because there is no such thing as general truth. Or general world.
Now we could say "the truth in general" or "the world in general" but here we would state something that is true most of the time but not always.

A:
When something “overwhelms your taste buds” the flavor is too strong and you just have to stop eating for a bit.
If you eat too much very sweet food you might start to get sick of the sweetness and need something else. This is an example of overwhelming your taste buds.
In this case, either the pizza or a topping on the pizza is good, but too much of them end up tasting bad. Mixing it in with the sauce helps get rid of the intense flavor of whatever this is talking about.

Q:
hello I have been trying Learn English whole my dream is live in Denver Does this sound natural?
A:
Whose. I'm just as guilty as anyone for confusing this with who's. They sound exactly the same.
Whose is possessive. Example. "Whose car is in the driveway?" You want to know, who owns the car.
Who's is a contraction of "who is" or "who has"
"whose/who's" (Ignore the w, it's silent)
