When the snakes bite them, they refuse to go to the hospital, because they believe that if they are righteous in the eyes of God, they won’t die. They also drink poison. They usually die. Please help me make this sound more natural.
Does it sound unnatural if I omit "loaves of "? Thanks in advance.
Does this sound natural?
A: The only thing that doesn't sound very natural is the "that one boy had" at the end of this sentence. Not sure if you could omit that part but if you want to keep it, I would suggest saying something like "that a boy was carrying" or "that a boy had been carrying" but other than that it sounds very good!

Q: Jesus set a good example, he didn't respond with evil. He didn't struggle against flesh and blood. What's more, wearing the helmet of salvation, he looks only to God. Does this sound natural?
A: The last sentence should be changed from "looks only" to "looked only" because in the first two setbacks there was an implication of the past tense. That's what makes the last part unnatural for me.
Q: Jesus chose to give his life for us because he relentlessly loves us. I have been set free from sin because Jesus died for me. I have been saved by grace through faith and this freedom is the gift of God. This free gift of God is not limited freedom like my summer vacation but eternal life. Does this sound natural?
A: “...not a limited freedom like my summer vacation; it is eternal life.”
