Synonyms of "Sentences" and their differences

Q: What is the difference between Sentences with infinitive and Sentences with ing ?
A: In Spanish you say 'me gusta cantar'; in English this could be translated as either infinitive (I like to sing) or 'ing' (I like singing). They mean exactly the same. IMO the 'ing' version is slightly less formal and more common, but they are both very natural. In Spanish you would never say 'me gusta cantando'.

In both English and Spanish you can say 'I am going to sing', 'voy a cantar'. You would not say 'I am going to singing' or 'voy a cantando' in either.

In both English and Spanish you can say 'I was singing', 'Estaba cantando', you would not say 'I was to sing' or 'estaba cantar' in either.

This is not the whole story but espero que te ayude ;)

A: Part-Time Event Assistant

- Assisted with different kinds of events, including completion of setting up a stage for an EDM music festival, collecting more visitors in the opening event model room, and attending spectators of sports games.
- Chosen to lead a small team of event staff due to outstanding leadership; acted on many great opportunities to learn about the event industry.

Notes: Titles on resumes are usually capitalized. Dashes usually have a space before and after them, unless used for hyphenating a word.

"Committing to" means you are agreeing to do something, but it does not mean you have done it yet.

"attending spectators of sports games" - does this mean you were attending as a spectator, or that you managed spectators at the games?

EDM - if you are speaking to people who make, produce, or are otherwise involved in EDM, an acronym is fine. If you are applying to non-EDM jobs, be sure to spell out EDM (Electronic Dance Music) if you have space on your resume page.

Resumes in the US usually focus on things you were the leader on, not things you helped with unless assistant was the only job you were doing, and is the job you are applying for. This is true even for assistant jobs. Focus on how your work made the company more money, or got more involvement from clients / customers. Mention projects (even small ones if you don't have many) that you worked on, finished, and how successful that project was.

Note: I am _not_ a professional resume consultant. I have just written a lot of them in my life and interviewed many people looking for a job (I'm in my late 40s). :)
