Questions about example sentences with, and the definition and usage of "Enclose"

The meaning of "Enclose" in various phrases and sentences

Q: What does "I enclose the remainder of my fees."
I don't get what they mean by that. I know what the sentence itself means but it doesn't make any sense to me. Maybe it has a special meaning? Can anyone help me with this, please? mean?
A: actually I thought that was a possibility even at the beginning but not a very likely one. Typically a company would use the word “invoice” and not use “my”. The use of “enclose” is strange as well. It is possible it’s just their usage, but it’s still quite odd (to me).

Another possibility is that it’s a “form” for you to send back, saying (from you) “I enclose the remainder of my fees."

I suppose what matters is that you pay them! :)

A: @leolin0819: This is a very good and difficult question. Enclose can mean to include something. I.e. In an email or letter, you enclose attachments or further documents or items. To encircle can mean to surround, but more to bring close rather than to gravitate toward. I.e. I encircle myself with a select group of friends. That means you PICK your circle of friends. I surround myself with good people means you SEEK OUT places that would have good people.

The use of "attach" gives the meaning of joined, next to or added. The example indicates that the certificate was sent WITH the letter.

The preposition after "attach" can be "to" or "by". The preposition after "enclose" can be "in" or "with"
