For example, 89% of plastic is used only once and then thrown away, like a plastic bottle or a disposable utensil. In fact some parts of the ocean are more polluted than the rivers of China. Also the concentration of plastic has even created a continent of plastic waste between California and Hawaii. So how do we stop the waste of plastic? First we must reduce out plastic consumption, in parcular our daily consumption. And in it's place we should more frequently use recyclable materials, like metal or glass. Of course the lifespan of these materials is longer, but we can recycle them again and again.
