Q: What is the difference between variety of and diversity and various ?
A: When you talk about diversity, you are mainly talking about the different types of people. Let's say that there is a group of people in a room and two friends are talking about it.

Person 1: look at the group of people!
Person 2: Yes, very diverse!

You use the word variety when talking about an item. Let's say a person and his friend are at the supermarket buying a box of chips.

Person 2: It's a wide variety of chips!

Q: What is the difference between variety and kind ?
A: They mean the exact same thing :) For example:

1) "There is a variety of different songs on this album"

2) "There are all kinds of songs on this album"

1 and 2 mean the same thing! They mean this album has a lot of different songs on it.

When you want to be specific about how many of something there are, it is more common to use "kind" :) For example:

"There are only 2 kinds of songs on this albums"
"There are 4 kinds of cake you can choose from"
"there is only one kind of this thing"

If you want to be a little bit more formal, then you can use variety when saying there is a specific amount of groups. For example

"There are around 1000 varieties of banana in this world"

although it doesn't really matter, because they basically mean the same thing.

sorry if this was a bit long! I hope this helped :)
Q: What is the difference between variety and diversity ?
A: up until the last 20 years or so, you could say that they meant the same thing however they tend to be used differently now.

variety tends to be used to describe a set of objects/things that are similar in type but differ slightly from one to another:
e.g
'the mall has a variety of shops' - being that all shops are the same, in that they sell things, but of course what they sell varies.

diversity can still be used in that kind of setting but it has been adopted as a political word used to describe the ethnic, religious, racial, gender, sexual orientation (etc.) differences within a population of people. (and this is it's most common use now a days)

both words are also terms used in biology.

Q: This particular variety of cherry trees, which constitue almost 90 per cent of today's sakua in Japan, are not capable of producing offsprings from their seeds. They have been all grafted for generations, meaning they are all clones. does this sound natural?
A: I think the most important thing to correct if only making one correction from your original sentence would be changing "offsprings" to "offspring". "Offspring" is one of those English words which has an invariable single/plural form, so it sounds very unnatural to a native English speaker's ears to hear "offsprings". If you made this one change, the rest of the sentence is okay, I just added a few changes that I thought made it sound better.
