Q: Who are the winners or losers in this world ? Who are both examples for ?Is the rich the winner ?Is the poor the loser ?
A: "Winners" and "Losers" is very subjective. You can use it as simple sports analogy, the team that scored the most points won the game. But this is were it gets confusing, I think it was Buddha that said. "The winner gains nothing, The loser is the one who gains." (I probably butchered that from trying to remember and not double checking Google. lol ^_^;)

Losers can also be used to refer to the little people like in schools. Or the people who are moving at a slower pace then the "normal" people. "Winners"/"normal people" are the people with the fancy houses and all kinds of stuff but that could also be easily reversed using the proverb. (And that Owen Wilson quote from "Night at the museum: battle for the Smithsonian", "All gussy up but dead inside.") lol :P

In short "loser's" is just a simple and lazy term used by the weak minded, I think anyways. ^_^
