Question about English (US)

There was a lot of antigovernment demonstrations in the 1980s in Korea. It was started in Gwang Ju first but sprayed to the whole cities. I lived in In Cheon and was a teenager at that time. The demonstrationors were almost university students and they were a little of older than my age. I sometimes went out in the streets and saw the sight that they protested. And then one day, I joined them in a demonstration regardless of my will, because the people were too many to count and I couldn't escape from them. Such a countless people were only walking toward in front while exclaiming slogans or singing. I couldn't find a space that I could escape so I just walked by sticking them. Eventually, I could run away when the riot police were appearing and shooting tear bombs.

does this sound natural?
