@YariMsj:
You asked this question for Taiwan not China, the two are not the same. But yes in China they go to school everyday except Saturday evenings in certain areas. A typical school day according to my Chinese friend usually starts very early at 6:00am with evening classes till around 7:45pmish or 8:00 ish. After that they may go home or stay in dorms doing long hours of homework that may take them into the midnight hours. Also some schools are different than others not all schools are like this but generally from what my friends told me this is what Chinese Highschool is like. But along with the long school day you may also have a ten day or more military training which can last quite some time and takes more time out of your day. Thus many of my friends from Mainland China do not have time to contact me because of their strict school schedule. Also do try to realize Taiwan and China are separate countries. Not one and the same please try to reword your sentence. You may offend some Taiwanese people by saying they are China. (。ŏ﹏ŏ)

In Taiwan,somesome private schoolstudents have to go to school including Saturdays or Sundays,so some private school students only have one holiday a week,some of them must go to school in summer vacation,so some private school tuition are much expensive than public school,if my grammer is wrong,do not hesitate to correct me. :)

Well it depends,elementary, junior high and high school are different. I used to go to school on saturday for half day when I was in junior high but that's because I'm in a special class. Now I go to school from 7:30a.m.till 17:00p.m. But Taiwanese high school students usually go to cram school after school, and a class is usually 3 hours long so it will be like 9 or 10 p.m. When you get home.

it's sad when I was a junior high, everyday is school day. Growing up, I realized that long school hours is to prepare for long work hour in the industry.

@YariMsj: Cram school is a place that you can learn Chinese or Math or English or Sociology or science (10 subjects and that's what we learn ). Because some school teachers teach really bad, we have to learn some subjects in cram school. You can choose what you want to learn but it's a little expensive. For example, a year "one" subject may cost you 800~1000 USD a year. And it's usually one class a week but some are two. It takes 3~3.5 hours each class. Not all of Taiwanese students go there but maybe 90%. Like I have to go to cram school 5 days a week. Students usually take math and English in it. There are more than 200 students in a classroom if you go to famous cram schools like me. Hope you can understand what I typed xD
