house chores are things you do in your house such as washing dishes, doing the laundry, sweeping, etc. while errands are usually things outside of your home such as grocery shopping, paying Bill's, etc.

-house chores it's mean the works in your house and your parents give you or some older family member give you
-> Ex: wash the dishes, sweep the floor,...
-errands it's mean someone is the same age with you or maybe smaller and older offer or tell you to do something
->Ex: Can you buy for me a cup of coffe please?

yes that can be considered an errand as it involves going outside. And it can be something you personally have to do as well like deliver a package or buy something, not just something someone asks you to do.
