Question about English (US)

i want to ask about using “reconciliation”

My best moment of high school age was a reconciliation with one of best friends. In those days, we belonged to same basketball club, but oneday we had made a quarrel over the rule of the club.
However, thanks to the last game, we made many eye contacts or conversations about the strategies during the game. After we won the game, we could shake our hands and hugged each other.
Does this sound natural?
