Question about English (US)

Q. Do you prefer to spend time with your friends at home or at restaurants?

A. I prefer to spend time with my friend at a restaurant rather than at home.

That reason is simple. It's because it is familiar to me.

I don't like to spend my time to adjust a new one because to feel familiar made me stable and save a time considering a new one.

There is a survey conducted by the Harvard research team, with over 5,000 students.

The purpose of the survey was to understand the consensus view about familiar and happiness.

An overwhelming 70% responded that when they are in a familiar environment, they feel happy.
Does this sound natural?
