Question about Japanese
There is a lot of words in Japanese that have the same sounds and different in meanings(and sometimes they are close to each other).
So, how could I know the word that he mean when I listen or speaking with a Japanese person ?
As I can’t understand without reading the kanji😣

there is a lot of kanji have the on and kun reading similar. What it makes difficult to remember and not to be confused.
What makes me wonder how a native speaker can talk fluently and so on
Sorry if this a silly question 😅

@Taboolah
The meanings of the words you said change depends on situations, stories, what the speaker talks about.
Example) 機械 & 機会
Both of them sound Kikai but
機械 means machine
機会 means opportunity
友達と話す機会があった。
There was a opportunity to talk with my friends.
これは薬を作る機械だ。
This is the machine that produces medicine.
