Hi!
So hence should be a final part of a sentence and it’s used more in formal writing. It’s also used in ways like “I’m not feeling well; hence I’m not about to go to school.” Hence can replace the phrases “which leads to” and “which is the reason of.” A more natural way to phrase this is “She became more friendly because of her fathers teachings” or “She was more friendly because of her father.”
Hope this helps!
