Question about English (US)

I found this sentence in my textbook: we don't allow students to have visitors after ten o'clock.

This seems to mean like "we don't have students as a visitors after ten o'clock".

But the sentence looks to mean "students have visitors", doesn't it??

Is the sentence correct??
