Question about English (UK)

a bit and a little both mean the same thing but with a slight difference.

A little means not much but enough. can be put before a noun and after the verb.

A bit just means not much and it does not show that something is enough. It can only be put after a verb. We need to put "of" if we want to put it before a noun.
