Question about English (US)

I have a question about “Avenue”.

1. In the dictionary, it has one meaning of a choice of making progress towards something.

For example in the sentence:
We will explore every avenue until we find an answer.

How would it be different from:
We will explore every method/way until we find an answer.

2. Is avenue a more poetic version of “way”? And it doesn’t have to be a solution for the problem?

Then what is the difference between:
“We can work together to find some avenues.”
“We can work together to find some solutions”
“We can work together to find a path/way to solve the problem”

I know I posted many questions, and I really appreciate if someone can help.

Thank you in advance for your patient help.
