How do you say this in Japanese? To sever your ties with the world without any worthy goal, for no obvious reason - that seems to be a pointless sacrifice. 「何か優れた目標を追求するならまだしも、何の明白な理由もなく [世の中・人間] との絆を断つなんて、[無意味な・無駄な] 犠牲だけだよ」でいいですか?
