Depends.
I'd use "can" if I'm just showing the heater to someone, but don't plan on turning it on.
I'd use "will" if I'm going to turn it on.

Both can be used interchangeably.
"Will" might be used more frequently when the heater has just been, or will be, turned on.

this heater will warm up the whole room is meant like its 100% going to do so. .
This heater can warm up the whole room is meant to describe that it Could do so but its not doing it now hope i could help you :(?
