Question about English (US)

‎Which sentence would you say? Or which one is more natural to say?

a. In Japan people eat seafood a lot.

b. In Japan people eat a lot of seafood.

I've been wondering over the last couple of days where to say "a lot" in sentences. If I'm not mistaken, most of the time it goes at the end of the sentence. Am I wrong?
