Question about English (US)

What does "you'll bleed ON people" mean?

I read this sentence, "If you don't heal what you hurt, you'll bleed on people who didn't cut you," but I don't understand "on people."
Does that mean "1) you will MAKE people (who didn't cut you) bleed" or "2) you'll bleed IN FRONT OF people who didn't cut you"?
