Question about English (UK)
Sometimes I can't clearly identify the Western faces because I seldom see them in my country, is the same situation happened to western people when they see the eastern faces? I'm just curious about it! :-P

It does happen to westerners as well, a lot, like all the time. a lot of them find it hard to differentiate between people from the east, especially the Far East. but with them they see easterners all the time, so they should be used to it ..

For us it's very difficult to recognize the country of procedence of a stranger, even if it's from the west. In any case, we could guess that he/she is stranger, and maybe in excepcional cases the country or the region (southern Europe, northern Europe...). So if it's hard to distinguish among the western, let alone Asian people!

Thank you guys for your answer! So can you tell German from Italian from Americans?(for example) Because for me, it's not too hard to tell Chinese from Japanese from Koreas.

I went to an international boarding school for high school, and from my experience, Germans are typically tall, blonde and beautiful (though not always), and you will at least identify them around christmas time when they start singing carols in German. Italians CANNOT stop rolling their Rs from what I know, but I haven't met many Italians. I'm half american but grew up in the US and look american, because people have always been able to tell at a glance. A little frustrating.
