Question about English (US)

I believe the color of old HAGI wares should be ivory when the pieces emerged from the kiln. The long term usage made the color turn to reddish. When I asked Mr. Tori Yoshino to made some tea bowls with the DAIDO clay only, he refused because there were not enough good clay then. But since then he tried to find the best design and firing for the clay. Thus we can introduce his DAIDO clay tea bowls. The fine ivory paste with thin glaze will turn out to be a modern tea bowl that has an air of fresh “old HAGI” taste.
does this sound natural?
