Question about English (US)
I think business person should be a yes-man against coalleagues and bosses.
However, if you will receive all requests from them, you will lost your active time.
In addition you will be licked by them.
Therefore we need negotiate to
them.
For example, refuse to requests, adjust workload.
It is effective you receive requests after you negotiated.
Does this sound natural?

business person -> a business person 【毎のサラリーマンにつき】/ business people 【サラリーマンとしても】
against -> with / towards, 【against】 はちょっと反対というネガチブ語感があるそうです。
coalleagues -> colleagues
receive -> take / get, それと普通には if ... will が敬語(?) if you take all requests" になりそう。
【In addition you will be licked by them.】 舐める → will be made fun of by; will be underestimated by
Therefore we need to negotiate with them.
So make it clear and communicate with them about it.
【refuse to requests】 あってる。でももっと自然に見えたければ refuse requests / refuse [some / their] requests / refuse to help (everything) それぞれのパターンがあります。
It is effective [to / that you] receive requests [when / after] you negotiate.
または:An effective thing is to consider requests only after you negotiate.

I think business person should be a yes-man with colleagues and seniors.
However, if you start to receive too many requests from them, you will lose your time.
In addition they will take advantage of you
Therefore you will need to renegotiate with them in order to stop it.
For example, refuse to requests, adjust workload.
It is effective is you negotiate the request before you accept it.
