"Frand" is not a word. If you mean "fraud" it is a criminal scheme that is used for personal gain, while "scam" is really the same thing. They are used interchangeably, but I would say that scam is for smaller things. Also note that people are sometimes referred to as "frauds" if they claim to do something they can't, and scam can be used as a verb. I hope this helps

Fraud means something is faked.. But a scam doesn't need to have anything faked, it's just usually deceptive/dishonest
