For the first person we have 'Esto' -> Esto, este, estos refer to things that I have in my proximity, in a few words what is at the hand of the speaker.
For the second person we have 'eso' -> Eso, esa, esos refer to things that are not at hand but are close to whoever receives the comment.
For the third person we have 'Aquel' -> Aquel, Aquellos, aquella refer to things that are not in the proximity of the speaker and who receives the comment. but you can point or point.
For example:
Imagine that we are talking about balls, I have a ball and you have a ball and in a basket is another ball, so for me is:
Esta es mi pelota
and for you is:
Esa es tu pelota
And if I point the other ball is:
Aquella pelota
