Question about English (US)

Japanese foods are so beautiful and tasty. Japanese traditional dish Osechi is a good example. We make a point of eating this food in the new year. It seems like turkey at Christmas. This dish is composed of layers and a lot of food in it. Interestingly, each food in it has meaning. For example, herring eggs called Kazunoko means having many children. We eat this dish with our family and share welfare from it. Unfortunately, the number of people who do not eat this dish is increasing these days because of time and effort for cooking and it is over 40%. This tradition may lose in the near future. does this sound natural?
