Question about English (US)

I want being on a sofa.

(This sentence is wrong. Because 'want' means that there is currently no but 'want being' means at the same time. Then this sentence must change 'want being' to 'want to be'. Because 'want to be' means that it happens in order. Is my explanation correct?)
