@pinf It should be "How about if i get into a situation today and need your help Brenda , Will you help me then?" to sound natural.
If you're using the word "How about" ,it means the conversation is already going on and Brenda didn't agree to the previous proposition. So, You're asking Brenda again if she'll help if "you get into a situation"
