Question about English (US)

In an exam I was asked this question.

In this global society, what would you like to teach through your english lesson. What kind of skills can your students get??

This is my answer.

I would like to teach how to communicate with other people. English is one of the language in the world. Of course if my students could learn how to speak, write, read, listen English, they would have less problems when they talk with people from other countries. But I think it is not enough skills to communicate with people. There are a lot of ways to be able to communicate. For example, body languages, attitudes, how to speak and so on.
If they could use all of these skills, they could enjoy communicating more and more. For these reason I would like to teach how to communicate with other people.

If you find my mistake in this, could you tell me that and I’d happy to hear your opinion as well.

Thanks.
