Question about English (UK)

What is "to be up one's street" ?

"My darling, that's something REALLY up my street. I've just begun to wash my hair, bull I'll be there in a minute."

This is from a satirical version of the Little Red Riding Hood, where the girl is asked by phone to come and slay a wolf (since she knows a thing about it). This is her answer.
