Bien it's an adverb and Bueno it's an adjetive
Bien it's used when something is/was good, correct, fine, etc.
Bueno it's used when something or somebody is/was nice, cool, good-looking, etc.
Examples:
"Lo he hecho bien" - "I have done it right"
"El helado está bueno" - "The icecream is delicious"
