We prefer use -서 than -니까 ex) I was hungry, so I ate bread. 배가 고파서 빵을 먹었다. =배가 고프니까 빵을 먹었다. I ate bread because I was hungry. ex) I skipped lunch, so I'm hungry. 점심을 굶어서 배고프다. = I'm hungry because I skipped lunch. 점심을 굶으니까 배고프다.
ex) He will drink a poison, so He will die. = He will die by drinking poison. 그는 독을 마셔서 죽을 거야. ex) He will die because he drank poison. 독을 마셨으니까 죽을 거야.
-서 does not have tense. -니까 : When main verb is future tense/imperative, You have to put tense.
ex) Make your money, so buy a car. 돈을 벌어서 차를 사. (Buy your car by making money.)
