Question about Simplified Chinese (China)
Someone told me this. They were invited to a Chinese banquet dinner in Hong Kong. Let's say they were served their portion of the food, and there are some leftovers on the main serving plate in the middle of the table, if you go for seconds, make sure to leave some leftovers (even if everyone else is full and nobody wants it). When the waiter comes to clear the plates, there should be leftovers. Why? and what do you call this act ?
