I would change it as above only I would also say as my clients directly effect my sales.

-Got is used for past tense
Example: 
"I got ice cream yesterday from the store"
Instead use Be, become, feel because it's a feeling that may or will occur to that individual.

-board is different from bored.

-bored is a feeling.

-board is an item as in, the monopoly game board. 
Or could mean a group of individuals as in, the board of directors.

- Instead of "and make them" which sounds wordy, use "but instead" because you want a different outcome, and it just sounds more natural as a sales person.
