This is being strict but I would change "I got an opportunity" to "I got the opportunity" because the opportunity isn't a variable or even an option anymore as it is happening or happened already while you would be saying this. Using "the" specifies the opportunity and it, in my opinion, shows that you value the opportunity more as you are referring to THE opportunity not AN opportunity. Just my opinion based on where I speak English.
