Nobody ll Care about you (i mean the people around you, Not the goverment). The mentality of Germans is so: everyone give a f*ck.(maby stupid Teens ll Tell you offensive Stuff, but its Not very whorse). sumarized, Mentality: OK.. the goverment: If you try to find a Job, they ll gife Money to you(Not very much but , ok). Very, Very high taxes.(45%) But If you Work this wont be a Problem. ^_^

German is one of the most complicated Languages in the World. seach to another Germans an listen them.
@whatnotsaid Don't waste to many time on Duolingo. It is not bad, but it is not effective. You need a lot of time and at end you barely have A2. In my opinion it is only a supplement. I am only half an hour per day on Duolingo and this more than enough. If you want make more fastly progress you should listen, watch, read something in german and speak in german. Look for a language interchange. In the Internet you'll find sites especially for that reason. Maybe do some grammar exercices. The German grammar is for beginners hard.
@killersockepluspie Nah, they aren't that high if you compare it to what you get. Education, health care, pension, etc. In countries like the US, you pay nothing, but nobody will help you if you ever get in trouble. Also, German is not that hard. There are languages in India that are WAY harder than that ;)
@whatnotsaid There are quite big Indian communities in the cities. Of course there is racism, it's worse in the east and in the countryside. I have an Indian friend, he's quite dark, and people ask him if he sells drugs all the time :/
