It is better to say Нельзя есть много конфет or нельзя есть так много конфет. It sounds more natural.

@YukiUsaghi If you want to say "you can't eat candies" you would say- нельзя есть конфеты, but if you want to say "you can't eat a lot of candies" you would say- нельзя есть много конфет.

Нельзя так много есть конфет.Нельзя есть так много конфет.Нельзя кофет есть так много.Нельзя есть так много сладостей(сладкого).Но естественна так же и фраза "Нельзя так есть конфеты",если способ поедания конфет не соответствует обычному.Однако, она не равнозначна переводу.
