Question about Japanese

I will be visiting Japan soon and I have heard that some places are unable to have English speaking customers for different reasons; I assume that the staff are unable to speak in English or are not very confident with it which is a totally valid reason for not serving me. So how would I ask "Do you serve English speaking customers?" (preferably written in katakana/hiragana or romaji, I don't know very many kanji characters) or is there another way I should go about this to be as polite as possible? Thank you!! :)
