Question about English (UK)
Is the British pronunciation for advertisement different from the American one? I’d like to hear both of them.
When I was a senior high school student, my Japanese teacher of English said that the stress is on the second syllable “ver” in British English. Is it already outdated?
Have you ever heard the word “advertisement” being spoken with a stress on the second syllable “ver?”

Yes, the pronunciation is different between American English and British English.
I’ve recorded both for you, the first version is the American, the second is the British. Although, it doesn’t matter which version you use as you’ll be understood.
