Question about English (US)

A:"I don't like these kinda books.

B:"I kinda like it"

I heard the "kinda" in the A wasn't natural so much in written English. It's natural in spoken English, but it should be "these kind of books" in written English.

Is the "kinda" in the B natural in written English? Should I even write "I kind of like it" in this case? Although I know the "kinda" in "I kinda like it" is different from the "kinda" in "these kinda books" in meaning.
