How many Japanese know that "meio" (Méiyǒu) is the Chinese word for "no"? Can I use it in Japanese in stead of "no"?
Actually I find it really cute and lovely and I love it more than "iie" (Jspanese)

you can't say meiyou in japan.

@ForbiddenHEART 'meiyou' is Chinese Mandarin then almost all Japanese do not know(>_<)

well, I'm not sure for example konbini clerk knows the word , but if he doesn't , he can understand your feeling of thanks .
