I've grown up in an area that is mostly Asian and have always had many friends and even family members through marriage who are. Good people are good people, I don't care where they are from :). Sadly there are always going to be racist jerks, but the good people out number them ♡
@yuree I don't think that the White people here don't like Asians. BUT-- Many people here are ignorant of Asian cultures. Many of them learn everything from anime, and they don't know the different type of cultures in Asia (Korean, Japanese, Indian, etc.)
I would say that most white people don't even think about asians. Asians are often forgotten, or an afterthought, in most diversity issues it seems. When racism does occur against Asians in the US, it's usually "benign". That is to say, there's no active violence or attempts to harm them socially. So, are White people racist against Asians in the US? A little, I guess.
The racist ones. I only know a few white people, cos my city is mostly hispanic, and they dont mind them some even love asians especially koreans and asian culture like the japanese culture is very liked here.
