The word "alcohol" can be both singular (just one alcohol) or plural (several alcohol). Just like the words "fish" or "sheep."

Also, "alcohole" sounds like it could be a new slang word for someone who turns into a mean person when they get drunk because it looks like a combination of "alcohol + asshole" lol 😆
