Question about English (US)

Is this sentence correct grammatically?: It has announced its booth at Comic Con, held in New York City on October 3.

*Comin Con will be held on this October.

Isn't it should be written as: It has announced its booth at Comic Con, which will be held in New York City on October 3.

or do you think the writer ommitted 'which is' before 'held'? then does 'It has announced its booth at Comic Con, which is held in New York City on October 3.' make sense?

Because I think 'which will be' can't be omitted and 'which is held on October' doesn't make sense.

Please give me some advice!
