You can say "Se você tentar um pouco mais, você conseguirá" (If you try a little more you can make it). But I think that would be more natural "Se você se esforçar mais, você conseguirá" (If you strive for that you can make it). And if your intention is to support someone you can speak "Não desista, você vai conseguir" (Don't give up, you'll succeed). Or "Eu confio em você, fique firme" (I trust you, hold on). Fun fact: there's a saying in Brazil "Sou brasileiro e não desisto nunca" (I'm Brazilian and never give up).
