I'm glad that it's finally taken for granted recently, since I've stopped buying familiar ingredients and seasonings for good, and I avoid visiting the same cafes I've been used to going to. I also take different paths to get back home instead of taking the ones I’d usually would take to get back home, because it’s more exciting that way.
For example, if you buy red radishes that are unfamiliar to Japanese cuisine, the range of dishes expand and it is fun to see all the different options you have!
Once I got to know all the shops at every building in my neighborhood, I would be able to remember and visualize everything, but it wasn’t as exciting anymore. It’s as if I were looking at the title of a book I know very well and recalling the whole story without having to open it.
So now even when I go out, I don’t go to all the shops I know, and instead i started going to different coffee shops or take different roads that I usually don’t take, I’ve recently found out that it’s fun to look at maps and go to different places in my neighborhood.
-Not too sure if you want to use this but I feel like it would make these paragraphs a lot bolder and brighter! It’s a great story and I hope I helped!! Keep it up you’re doing great 😊
