past simple- это действие которое закончилась
past continuos- это действие которое продолжалась некоторое време
past perfect- это действие в котором кто делает это мы не знаем или не имеет значение кто эта делает и действие соединяет прошлое с настоящим

(я знаю пока только первые два по ним и отвечу) Past Simple это то что уже произошло например Я катался на лошади вчера-I ride a horse yesterday. А Past Continuous это действие которое происходило в определённый момент например он смотрел телевизор в 6 часов вчера He was watching TV at 6 o'clock yesterday. То есть Past Simple это действие которое происходило в прошлом а Past Continuous это определённая точка в прошлом
