Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in America. Thanksgiving in America is always on the 4th Thursday in November, and black Friday is the day after that. Black Friday is when stores have really good sales, it's the busiest shopping day of the year.

I have never heard of "black season", I don't know what that is.

@vz9002 Thanks for the answer. Black Season was mentioned in an email I received about Black Friday sales. I asked because I also didn't understand the word. But it was helpful to know that even native speakers are not familiar with the word.
