Could you give an example of il est as it's hehe
I can only think of the weather but that's because it's an "impersonal il"
Il fait froid--It's cold. But il doesn't refer to a he, it's the word we use to say that it's happening (as a statement)

Ah, technically you could use c'est délicieux, but you use il est délicieux because you're talking of that one, to emphasize it's the one she/he gave you

And to tell the time you'll use "Il" for the same reason as the weather. "il est midi. Il est 18h"
